Tomorrow, i would be heading again to the NBI Renewal office. This is where we apply for this thing called “NBI Clearance” and it’s been a long time since i went there. Approximately around 3 1/2 years ago. And i never liked the experience of going there (this applies to other government agencies in the philippines)
Why you ask?
- My first encounter would be the Land Transportation Office (LTO) to get my license. A lot of fixers were around the office and instead of following the line, they went on their mischievous ways like offering you their service in return of additional charges (Getting a license would normally cost around 400 pesos, but if these bastards would be of service, it may go up to a high of 1,000 pesos… see the BIG difference?) Yeah sure, no hassle of waiting long lines, etc… but come on, think of those who are in line first (the ones who waited long enough just to get their papers processed) Yes, there fixers everywhere….
- My first experience to the NBI office here in cavite about 3 1/2 year ago to get my NBI Clearance and yeah, still the same rant. The long lines, the bully personnel of NBI and yes, the place is very uncomfortable (kinda reminds me of a warehouse) Very hot plus the fact that there are a lot of people on the place makes the area nt a very pleasant place to stay. Plus the fact that there are no chairs…… YUP! no chairs!
Earlier i went there, hoping that i could renew my clearance but to my disappointment, i will be wasting my whole day in there. Sure there is a numbering system, i got “318″ and yet it’s around 10 am and they were only serving number 50…. yeah you heard me right…. number 50! demmet!
- The Department of Foreign Affairs office. I went there for my passport and basically, just the same rant.
So basically, those are some reasons why i don’t like going into government offices.as much as i wanted to praise them, still alot of negative things to look at.
I know this post is full of rants but i have no other thing to do but comply. After all in the end, it will end up good! hehehe!
Stay Tuned….
