Hello and welcome (finally) to Points Of Interests.com.
Thank you guys for frequently visiting my blogsite. It may not have 10k or more hits but hey, at least some of you out there takes time to visit my blog and read all the random posts i make here.
So far, my site has reached version 4.0 (in a span of almost a year and a half up to date) alot of changes, migrations and finally, it has found it’s home (for now… hehehe)
So when did this website started?
Before points of interests, i used to host a blog on friendster (yeah, the days when friendster was still spam-free and facebook hasn’t reached it’s popularity. ) I hosted a blog called “Mikester’s World” (cheesy name but hey, i was just starting) and it contains some personal posts that was later on, closed (i can’t handle too many blogsites)
On January 26, 2007, points of interests was launched. Originally intended as a site that talks about music, games, shows, album reviews and everything under the sun (hence the tag line, Where we talk about everything) The first tag line was “Random thoughts, random stuff. The old site can be viewed here
The first migration happened wherein blogger has issues with music being uploaded in their servers and they can manipulate your entries. That’s bad when you look at it in a security point of view. So that’s when the migration from blogger to wordpress happened.
On to the year, then it evolved into 2.0 then 3.0 I got a hold of the domain for points of interests early this year and for quites ometime, it was only a redirection site going on to my wordpress 3.0 version. but not until today…
So there you go, a brief history about this blog. New domain, new look, same old content that you readers loved.
