Unfortunately, it’s not a new gadget, but it’s a sad day for Apple as Steve Jobs, the genius behind the successful products that apple produced passed away due to pancreatic cancer a few hours ago.

With that let’s offer a moment of silence for this genius man. Turn off any Apple gadget that you may have in your possession….

Even though they’re products are way expensive than the other, i hate to say this but it gives you that elite status if you own an apple product. I give kudos to the innovations that he did introduced to us over the years. Who would have thought the innovation of creating a portable music player that can store thousands of music, or a stylish phone that you can use to surf the web, play games and can do a whole lot more?

Steve Jobs, you have done yourself a good Job and for that, thank you for legacy that you left behind. 

From the standard bananatype mobile phones,

To slide-up mobile phones

and now, OS powered and touch screen mobile phones

Nevertheless, the old-school QWERTY keypad style of mobile phone is still my choice of phone.

And i find most of the features that i love can be found on a Blackberry mobile phone.

Why you ask? it’s because of the BBM messaging feature.

With this,  you can message everyone from all parts of the world. And the best thing is, it’s part of the service. You don’t have to memorize country codes, area codes and phone numbers. All you need is a BBM pin and boom! instant messaging just like that!

I also liked how the interface of the BBM looks like. It has one of the features that is important for me which is threaded messaging. With this, all of my messages from a certain contact is grouped and orderly presented with the corresponding date and time that we had the conversation.

Also, the chat-like feature makes it more easier and fun to use.

Not only that, the Blackberry also comes with other features such as:

• Wifi
• Long lasting battery (a must for people whose on the go always)
• High-resolution screen (me likey)
• Ease of use (QWERTY keypad makes it easier to type words)
• Sleek and stylish look

Basically, you’ll have everything that you need in one phone!

So what are you waiting for? Go BB!

It’s almost chritmas and got any gifts for your loved ones? as much as i wanted to buy gifts, i can’t find the time (plust the money as well) to go to the mall. Howell, i’ll be able to go to the mall again one of these days.. i miss my life…

Currently playing Left 4 Dead 2 and Modern Warfare 2 and i must say they really are nice games to purchase. Im thinking of a christmas gift not only for myself but also here in the house for my 2 younger siblings. They want me to get us a Wii for this christmas. As far as you know, im more of a sony guy (heheh! in my inner self, i purchase sony products) Well, here’s the breakdown

• Nintendo Wii – Fun games, for the family, Gamecube 2.5
• Sony PS3 - Next-gen graphics, Tekken 6, Metal Gear solid, one pricey console and pricey list of games
• Xbox360 - Good lineup of games, Tekken 6 also, Problem is, the long time use of the console

And so i ask you, if i would be getting a console for Christmas, what should i get for home? Inputs and comments are all welcome. If i don’t get decided on what to get, i just might keep the money in the bank.

Well guys and girls reading this entry, this is the reason why…

About a week ago, i learned about this contest from an officemate of mine who happens also to be a part of the contest. Fair enough, since i have been a subscriber of RED mobile since December of 2008, I decided to try in making a video that will showcase the oldest 2G phone and show to the world that even on an old 2G phone, the RED simcard would work.

And so tried my luck, looking for old cellphones in the house, i have only found 1. I have to admit, it’s made in 2003  but it’ still considered a 2G phone (i got me a nokia 3100, im still hunting for that elusive 5110 that my cousin has) and so the video editing began. I tried my luck to enter the contest by submitting this video i made for RED Retro contest.

And so that starts my so-called “Campaign to capture RED” began. In a span of almost a week, my video got at least 28 votes (and still rising, thank you for your support) and even taking the number 1 spot.

But then of course, there are other entries too taking their luck in the contest. And so this i ask you guys, please support my entry.

RED Retro mobile… click me for your vote

I have recently browsed through a huge library of games available and there is this one game that we love playing at the office (even my boss plays it and the last time i checked he was the current holder the high score so far in the game at the office) The game is “Flight Control”  from Firemint games. This is a game wherein you are in charge of traffic control of airplanes, choppers and jumbo jets. to further illustrate how the game looks like, watch the video below

The game’s premise is simple right? You redirect the path of the incoming planes to land on their respective runways (choppers on helipads, Jumbo jets and Airplanes on the long runway while small planes on the short runway) but then again, when the screen is crowded with planes, fast jumbo jets and slow choppers, it’s gonna be mayhem.

Also right now, im playing Fieldrunners from Subatomic Studios. Now this game looks like this

Now i know what you are thinking…. kinda resembles like Tower Defense but this one is presented in a colorful style, nice graphics and simple gameplay but requires you to place strategically your defenses in order to stop the wave of enemies from crossing the field going to your side.

And of course ( a little promotion coming in 3… 2… 1…) Hero of Sparta from Gameloft.
